The Star Of David Is The "sign"For YESHUA

The Star of David is the historic icon/symbol for the kingship of David. The prophets had written that the Messiah would come from the lineage of David.  Because the Star of David is the icon/symbol for the kingship of David, the Star of David is actually the "sign" or symbol for the Messiah, the Greatest King, or King of Kings, who would come from David's lineage and completely overshadow David.

Zechariah 12:8 (NIV) On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them.

Zechariah 13:1 (NIV) "On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

Numbers 24:17-19 (NIV) "I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth. 18 Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong. 19 A ruler will come out of Jacob and destroy the survivors of the city."

2 Samuel 7:12-16 (NIV) When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. Psalms 110:1 (NIV) Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."

Psalms 132:11 (NIV) The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath that he will not revoke: "One of your own descendants I will place on your throne--

Luke 20:42-44 (NIV) "David himself declares in the Book of Psalms: "'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."'  David calls him 'Lord.' How then can he be his son?"

John 7:42 (NIV) Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?" 

The Star of David is and can only be the "sign"symbol for YESHUA. 

Revelation 22:16 (NIV) "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
